How follow-up guides your treatment
We review how treatment is affecting your health and whether the recommendations remain practical. That may involve discussing appetite, changes in weight, medication tolerability, laboratory findings or barriers to following the plan.
I also consider sleep, stress, hormonal concerns and emotional wellbeing when they affect your care. These are part of the clinical picture we review together.
Body composition provides information that weight and BMI alone cannot offer. We consider those findings alongside your broader assessment and health goals.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will I see the same physician each month?
Yes. I conduct your physician visits and handle clinical communication directly. Your ongoing care stays with the physician who performed your assessment.
Can I contact you between appointments?
Yes. Text and email access are included in membership. This access supports your ongoing care and does not replace emergency services.
Does membership include medication costs?
No. Medication management and advocacy are included, but pharmacies bill for the medication itself. Coverage and your out-of-pocket cost depend on your plan and prescription.
Can you help if insurance denies a medication?
I pursue prior authorizations and appeals where appropriate. If coverage remains unavailable, we can discuss self-pay options and alternatives that fit your care.
Do I have to take weight management medication?
No particular medication is required or promised. Treatment decisions follow your assessment and include discussion of the benefits, risks and alternatives relevant to you.
Is the initial consultation included?
No. The consultation establishes your assessment and written plan before ongoing membership begins. See current fees and inclusions.
Can I have an in-person appointment?
In-person appointments are available on Tuesdays from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Virtual care is also available in the four states served. See appointment availability.
Is there a minimum commitment?
There is no minimum membership commitment. A patient may cancel within 30 days if they are not satisfied. Please review the membership terms before enrolling.
